After doing some digging, it seems this is most, if not all of DK's screentime in the movie so calling him the "main villain" of the movie is a bit misleading. On the other hand, it still substantial enough that Donkey Kong has some stakes in the plot of the movie (unlike, says, Bowser's cameo in Wreck-It Ralph) and furthermore, according to Wikipedia's summary of the "plot", the Donkey Kong arcade game itself is integral to the movie as it's prominently featured in the oepning scene and it drives one of main character's motivation for the rest of the film. You can split hairs and say the DK in Pixels is not the genuine article but a weird alien recreation of his sprite, but I don't think it's an useful distinction here. Fact is, the use of the Donke Kong intellectual property is more relevant to the plot of Pixels than is Donkey Kong's appearance in the Wii Punch-Out, which squarely meets the current description of what a guest appearance is.
vetoed by the administratorsPorple says he's not going to change it, and this isn't something users can propose. For some reason, non-autoconfirmed users can upload an image from their computer, but cannot upload an image from an URL. I personally think it's ridiculous; If a vandal wants to upload a image, they can easily download it into their computer and upload it. I prefer that either new users will not be able to upload images, or they will be able to upload images from anywhere (as they can download it to their computer anyway).
One solution is obviously to download the image from the french version, and upload it to the english version. But this is both cumbersome, and it destroys the audit trail. Indeed a strict interpretation of the Wikitravel:Image policy suggests that I need the permission of the original photographer to do this.
guys , english is not my mother tonguage , i just want to search for movies about different countries before i travel to it..movies speaking about natural places maybe animals..anythng interesting about the country i m heading to?i just want to know what is the name of that kind of movies , is it documantry?i always search documantry movies but it just speak about history of the country..and just a suggestion can we add a topic for every place or city with movies made by us..i mean most of the travellers do some photoing and make small movies while they are travelling , can we add a section of ( movies ) to every country so every one can upload his own movie about it ?
the next step is about the practical problems , like the format of the movies and teh extra bandwdith needed , well i think that can be solve.for the format i think we can leave it free for anyone to do what he want..maybe he has low internet connection so he will upload low quailty movie , maybe other has higher band , and can do better..teh next problem of the extra band , i don't know but i can think of 2 solutions, maybe we can depend on the torrent tecnology so the role of the server in wiki will just act as manger of teh process and no need for large extra band , or we can just depend on other torrent sites which can do that and just link to it..
I think the issue for the American Go Association was financial, as well as the amount of work needed from a volunteer work force to produce the AGA Journal. The AGA E-Journal is not a web-zine but rather an e-mail journal. It appears weekly. The basic newsletter is available free to anyone with an e-mail address. There are various supplements (commented games, problems, articles) which are sent to AGA member subscribers. Initially the supplementary material had to be in SGF format but lately articles in PDF form have been added, broadening the possibilities. There will be an annual paper yearbook containing "the best" of the E-Journal and a CD-ROM containing the entire year's E-Journals will be included.
1. Html pages don't need to be downloaded. Adobe is respected but maybe not as much as you think. In my experience, pdf files are hated - used faute de mieux in some cases, but hated. Other Adobe programs seem to interfere with registry settings or behave erratically when installed/unistalled in ways that make the computer unsophisticates (the majority) very nervous. Most of us need kids to operate the video. (PS I don't know what CBT is.) 2ff7e9595c
